Is there a way to prevent "Signed Contract" email going to client?

The client gets emailed a signed copy of their documents. A big reason why I use the client portal is to store and transfer sensitive documents that might include clients’ SIN or SSN. Given the fact that email is not a secure method of transfer, this would defeat the purpose of sending confidential documents via this method.

Is there a way to turn off the attachment of signed document notification to the client?

Hi Andrew, yes you can disable this. From the sidebar if you go to “App Setup” and edit the Contracts app you will see the following page

You can turn off “Email notifications contain pdf attachments” and hit Save.
